The business was established in 1994 by three growers - Lochy & Willie Porter and James Gray - with the ambition to sell fruit directly to retailers and continually improve the product available to consumers. Working with nearly 150 growers worldwide, the business grows and packs strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries 12 months of the year, supplying UK and European retailers.

Berry Gardens is the largest and most innovative growers group in the UK and have been around since 1972, growing berries, cherries and plums.

S&A is one of the largest independent soft fruit growers in the UK supplying strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and British asparagus to major retailers.  This independently-owned family business is based in Herefordshire, but today S&A is a global enterprise with operations in Spain and also South America.

Using innovative growing techniques they aim to continuously produce soft fruit of exceptional quality.  What sets them apart from their competitors is that they control their own supply chain from plant to punnet in-store, whilst also working with like-minded growers across the globe to provide the highest quality fresh produce all year round.

Total Berry is one of Europe’s foremost authorities on berries with a global network of growers to support a continuous supply of berries throughout the year.

Dedicated, highly qualified experts travel the world to assess crop quality from existing and potential suppliers, which enables them to provide the retail, catering and wholesale sectors with exactly the produce they require.

Total Berry aspires to take a leading role as a European berry company to develop the European berry market.

The Asplins Producer Organisation Ltd is a fruit producing, packing and marketing cooperative with twelve members who produce top, stone, and soft fruit across the UK.

They are registered as a Producer Organisation under the EU Fruit and Vegetable Aid Scheme and are funded by the EU.

They produce, pack and market a whole range of UK fruit which includes strawberries, raspberries, apples, pears, blackberries, blueberries, cherries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, plums and rhubarb.

The business currently produces berries and stone fruit across 22 locations in the UK, Spain and other European countries as well as collaborating with growers around the world to provide these crops year round.

Chambers signed up to an international Rubus Breeding Consortium Agreement in Autumn 2015, which sees existing genetic resources at East Malling Services – the commercial division of East Malling Research – being used to produce a new generation of improved ‘traditional’ raspberry varieties as well as a number of new varieties for the professional and amateur markets. Tim Chambers is Chairman of the Consortium.

Farm Fresh PO's mission is to effectively promote and market the fruit of the PO members and increase their efficiency of production.  They have been a leading supplier of soft fruit and vegetables to the UK markets since 1996, when the PO was formed. This includes strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, asparagus and beans. 

Angus Growers Ltd is a soft fruit producer organisation based in Arbroath on the East Coast of Scotland, in the heart of the traditional Scottish berry growing area.

The company is owned and managed by 17 growers, the majority in Angus, Perthshire and Fife, who grow a variety of fruits and other crops; we market their strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and cherries.

They specialise in producing fresh fruit for the major supermarkets, shops, restaurants and food and drinks manufacturers.

Mockbeggar Ltd. is a Producer Organisation which specialises in premium produce grown at farms across the UK. Established In 1997, Mockbeggar Ltd supplies a range of soft fruit, stone fruit and top fruit to a variety of supermarkets and convenience stores. 

We regularly invest in improvements to our cropping, packing and storage facilities and equipment which allows us to provide supreme quality fruit and reduce our environmental footprint.

Driscoll's has been growing the finest berries since the 1870s. Independent experts use natural breeding methods to produce excellent berries, and Driscoll's berries are packed in the field for ultimate quality and freshness. They collaborate with independent growers in worldwide growing regions to deliver high-quality berries all year round.

The Wilkin family have been farming at Tiptree, Essex, since 1757, and making quality preserves since 1885. They grow a wide range of traditional English fruits and use them to make conserves, condiments, and other treats in our nut-free factory by the farm. They received their first Royal Warrant from George V in 1911, and remain Royal Warrant holders as purveyors of Tiptree Products to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Every member of staff is part of their Employee Benefit Trust, giving each a keen interest in the future of the business. 

The farm is LEAF Marque accredited (Linking Environment and Farming), recognising that they work sympathetically with the environment and encourage links with the local community. Fruit crops include strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, Morello cherries, rhubarb, damson, Victoria plum, greengage, quince, and the curious medlar. Where they cannot grow their own crops, they buy the best quality fruit from trusted sources, such as Seville for marmalade oranges. Their signature fruit is the Little Scarlet strawberry, a tiny wild variety, that is very difficult to grow and to harvest. They believe that they are unique in the world in growing this remarkable crop, but it is worth it for the depth of flavour that it provides.

Olive Grove Salads Ltd is a family owned business with three directors, Ronnie Baybutt, Judith Baybutt and Peter Baybutt, who all take an active role in the day to day and forward planning of the business.

They are situated in Hesketh Bank in Lancashire in the heart of the North West growing industry and have been growing strawberries since April 1997. Currently they farm 7 acres of glass and 8 acres of poly tunnels.

All of their class 1 fruit is supplied to a supermarket and class 2 fruit is supplied to the wholesale market.

As a company, Olive Grove Salads is very conscious that quality and a continuous supply is required and take pride in ensuring that all products that leave their premises are of a high standard which is recognised by the quality assurance schemes we hold such as BRC, Red Tractor Fresh Produce, LEAF Marque and Sedex.

Stewarts of Tayside Ltd is an independent grower, packer and haulier of soft fruit and swede.  Based on the banks of the Tay, just outside Perth, Scotland, the business was formed in the 1970s and has grown organically since then.  The business is family owned with provenance, quality and reliability being at the heart of how the Stewart family manage the business in a hands-on manner.  The company has a number of direct supply relationships with a broad mix of customers, from the national multiples to wholesale, food service and food processors.

Veri Berry, part of Global Pacific UK is based in Northamptonshire and produces strawberries, apples, nectarines, oranges, pears, lemons, blackberries, grapes, kiwifruit, plums, clementines, mandarins, tangerines, raspberries, cherries, blueberries, peaches and lady apples.

UFG are a soft fruit and stone fruit supply chain service company, working for UK berry and cherry growers who supply directly to supermarkets.

Starting with their founder, ‘Buddy’ Mansfield, the Mansfields business continues to this day with the third generation of the family now involved. It is from his vision, and the passion and dedication of his children and grandchildren, that Mansfields has grown from a small plot in Dargate, Kent to an operation farming three thousand acres and producing over twenty-five thousand tonnes of fruit each year.

Allanhill Farm is situated just outside the historic University town of St Andrews in Fife. Owned and run by John Mitchell, the farm has been in the family since 1952. Originally a dairy farm, the focus is now on soft fruit and cereals. They planted their first crop of strawberries there in 1995. They now grow approximately 190 acres (77 hectares) of strawberries, the varieties being Malling Centenary and Sonata. Their growing methods are specifically aimed at achieving the best flavour possible. All of their production is protected by polythene tunnels, which helps to extend the harvest period and improve fruit quality.

Homme Soft Fruit grows a number of strawberry varieties to ensure that they produce exceptional quality and flavour throughout the season (mid-April – early November). All their strawberries are grown on table tops and hand-picked direct to punnet. The fruit is then taken to solar powered, BRC accredited packhouse where it undergoes rapid cooling to maintain its quality and freshness. Their packing lines and weighing scales are fully automated enabling staff to quality check, weigh, seal and label fruit efficiently for same day dispatch to supermarkets.

Great tasting fruit is at the heart of everything Primafruit does. They work with Waitrose & Partners to understand and surpass the expectations of their customers. This is achieved by working closely with a talented network of growers - sourcing the highest quality fruit all year round.

United Exports was initially established as a fruit export business in 2002 by Roger Horak. Recognising the need for a consistently premium product, the United Exports founder adapted the company to a vertically integrated model. This enabled them to be present in all facets of the production process, from planting to packaging to delivery.

With an initial focus on stone fruit – nectarines, peaches and the like – they quickly established themselves as experts on low-chill genetics and production. This soon extended into new commodities, most notably their evergreen blueberry varieties created by world renowned plant breeders, Dave and Leasa Mazzardis.
